Animated snow rain overlay12/8/2023 ![]() After Roll20 re-encodes the animations they tend to be around 1mb each (and were ~10mb max before that), so in theory they shouldn't be causing such cpu spike I'm hoping they can fix the platform soon so we can enjoy them properly. There's also a known bug with audio + animations that drastically worsens the experience. While not everyone seems to have the problems, it's widespread enough that it should be handled quickly by Roll20 (one could hope). said: Hi Memm, thank you for the kind words! Worst case scenario, the Layer Up update will be ready for testing in around a month if they keep to their schedule. In the meantime the only thing that comes to mind that might help (besides no audio, if you're being hit by that bug) is hardware acceleration, but that's usually enabled by default on most browsers.
